Fearless Goddess

What’s the story of the Tava Truck?

Oh yes, that! This 1976 Dodge Titan has transformed into a work of art by a conglomeration of local talent.

The Goddess

The concept began as a request to create an iconic goddess surrounded by fruit and veggies. Lo and behold, Kat Tudor already had a similar sketch created in her vast archives. The original piece, named “CeaSwati” was inspired by a dear friend and former Manitou resident. The goddess art morphed into the image she is today, a sun-kissed goddess of health who loves farm to table food.

The Mural

The truck came to life with the vibrant touches of local muralist Douglas Rouse. You can see Doug’s murals in Old Colorado City, and downtown Colorado Springs.

We feel inspired to make delicious food to please your senses. It’s not just food, it’s an experience. Not only is the truck a work of art, but it also serves art you can eat!

Review

This review is for Tava food truck, which is parked out beside the spa. Holy moly! This food cannot be missed if you’re in manitou. Over two trips, I’ve had everything on the menu, except the breakfast. Amazing taste, farm fresh ingredients. Can’t say enough good things about it. Just go..
